Jesus David Montero

Jesus David Montero is an experienced development engineer currently employed at Gran Tierra Energy since March 2020. Prior to this role, Jesus held the position of quality control inspector at Weatherford from July 2019 to March 2020 and worked as a researcher at the University of Alberta between January 2017 and June 2019. Jesus began a career in the petroleum industry as a geomechanics and wellbore stability engineer at Equión Energía Limited in 2015. Jesus holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta, obtained in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander, completed in 2015.
