Kent Kearns

Kent Kearns is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Completions & Workovers at Gran Tierra Energy since October 2019, after holding the position of Manager in the same department. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Harvest Operations Corp. and TAQA, where Kearns excelled as Completions Engineering Manager and Completions Engineer. Kearns’ earlier career includes positions at Apache Corporation and BP, focusing on well completions and interventions, as well as operational efficiencies. Kearns began professional endeavors at PROMORE Engineering, overseeing field operations and leading international projects. Kearns holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta, earned between 1999 and 2002.
