Travis Akin

Travis Akin has extensive work experience in various roles within the food industry. Travis is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Grand Prairie Foods since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Plant Manager at Saturn Petcare from September 2020 to February 2022. Travis also worked as an Operations Manager at Blue Buffalo Co from November 2016 to September 2020. Before that, they served as a Category Sourcing Manager and Business Unit Manager at Sugar Creek Packing Co from July 2015 to November 2016 and from May 2012 to July 2015, respectively. Travis has also worked as a Packaging Manager at A.ZEREGA'S & SONS INC from June 2011 to May 2012, and as a Plant Manager at J. R. Watkins from November 2008 to May 2011. Travis started their career as a Production Manager at Conagra Foods from January 1997 to May 2004.

Travis Akin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota, completing their education from 1992 to 1996.
