Laura Ramirez

Laura Ramirez, LMSW, currently serves as a School Social Worker at Grand Prairie ISD, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Laura worked as a Bilingual Children's Advocate at One Safe Place, where responsibilities included providing crisis intervention and support for victims of domestic violence. Laura's experience also includes serving as a Crisis Intervention Intern at Grand Prairie ISD, where knowledge of suicide protocols and social-emotional learning was applied to support students. Early career roles included an Intake Specialist Intern at One Safe Place and an Administrative Assistant at Texas Instruments. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University, alongside prior studies at Tarrant County College.
