Julie Beukema

Julie Beukema is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Collection Services Manager at Grand Rapids Public Library since March 2008, where Julie has also held positions as Branch Manager of the West Side branch and Youth Services Librarian. Parallel to their library career, Julie Beukema has been an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Inc. since October 2012 and has worked as an Administrative Associate in the Contact Center at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services since June 2008. Prior experience includes serving as a Teen Services Librarian at Dearborn Heights City Libraries from April 2005 to March 2008 and as a Circulation Assistant at Kent District Library between 2000 and 2005. Julie Beukema holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from Calvin University.
