Tendai Reed

Tendai Reed is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in educational advocacy and intervention. Currently serving as a Youth Advocate Specialist at Grand Rapids Public Schools since September 2010, Tendai focuses on supporting early childhood intervention programs and middle school students, while also engaging parents/guardians in the educational decision-making process. Previous roles include Restorative Interventionist and Interventionist, where Tendai developed conflict resolution skills in students and implemented positive behavior support structures. Additionally, work as a Youth Specialist at Bethany Christian Services involved supervising residents and promoting their positive growth. Tendai's educational background includes a Master of Science in Public Health Management from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Urban Education from Davenport University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tennessee State University.
