Kayla Hopson

Kayla Hopson has a MHA, CMPE and has held various roles in the healthcare industry. Kayla started their career in 2012 at Medical Associates Clinic & Health Plans, where they initially worked as a Clinical Quality Reporting Coordinator and later became a Clinical Manager. In 2015, Hopson joined Grand River Medical Group as the Chief Operations Officer and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2023.

Kayla Hopson, MHA, CMPE obtained their Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Des Moines University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General at Clarke University from 2005 to 2008. Kayla is also Board Certified through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (CMPE) and obtained this certification from MGMA in December 2017.
