Jess Ettell Irvine

Jess Ettell Irvine is a Senior Solutions Specialist at Grand River Solutions. Jess previously served as the Assistant Dean for Student Integrity and Community Standards at Ohio Wesleyan University and also held the roles of Senior Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Clery Compliance Coordinator.

Jess served as the chief conduct officer managing day to day operations for university processes for behavioral concerns, including complaints falling under Title IX, and sexual misconduct policies. She guided cases through the appropriate university process by receiving reports, providing supportive measures, and taking interim actions. Her primary task also involved processing resolution proceedings, including informal resolutions. Jess oversaw the development of a comprehensive, results-driven bystander intervention program that includes leading education sessions for students, faculty, and staff on topics including sexual violence, alcohol and other drugs, mental health, and hazing among other topics. During her time at Ohio Wesleyan University, Jess maintained university compliance for Title IX, VAWA, and the Clery Act.

Jess has a background in student conduct, prevention education, policy creation and revision, behavioral intervention teams, crisis response, and protocol development. She received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY College at Brockport and her master’s degree from the University at Buffalo.
