Joseph Painter

Joseph Painter is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa since June 2023, and holding a similar position at The Hotel Emma since January 2015. Key responsibilities at The Hotel Emma included participation in the hotel's construction, development of maintenance programs, and oversight of engineering budgets. Prior roles included Director of Facilities at Station Casinos, where Joseph supervised over 100 team members and managed safety programs, as well as various engineering positions at Omni Hotels & Resorts, demonstrating a strong capability in team leadership, budget management, and preventive maintenance expertise across a range of properties. Joseph holds a high school diploma from Havana High School, completed in 1979.
