IT Manager at Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos

Matt Kelley has extensive experience in the field of IT management. Matt began their career in 2012 as an IT Manager at GTRC, where they managed a team of 20 and was responsible for evaluating regulatory requirements and designing a defense-in-depth environment. Matt then moved on to Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos, where they continued in the role of IT Manager. In this position, they led a departmental transformation, aligning it with COBIT 5 framework, and successfully designed and implemented a transition between ITSM platforms. Most recently, Matt joined Michigan Broadband Services as the Director of Infrastructure in 2021.

Matt Kelley attended Michigan State University from 1997 to 1998, where they studied Pre-Engineering. Matt did not obtain a degree during that time. In addition to their university education, Matt Kelley has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In November 2016, they obtained the COBIT 5 Foundation certification from ISACA. In June 2014, they completed the IT Project Management certification from Global Knowledge. Finally, in December 2016, Matt Kelley obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)².
