Sean Erikson

Sean Erikson has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Adjunct Faculty at Franklin University from 2001 to 2002. Sean then worked as a Software Specialist III (Application Architect) at Nationwide Financial Services from 1997 to 2003, where they played a key role in implementing technology and business strategies. Erikson then joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2003 as a VP - Application Architect Lead, leading the development of the Enterprise Fraud Detection and Prevention Platform. Sean transitioned to a Delivery role and built a team of technologists before leaving in 2011. Erikson then joined Huntington National Bank as the Chief Architect from 2011 to 2016. Their most recent role was at Grange Insurance, where they started as the AVP, Architecture & IT Strategy in 2016 and then became the VP, Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, Emerging Tech & Enterprise Integration.

Prior to that, they also studied computer science at The Ohio State University from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they hold certifications in Introduction to Prompt Engineering for Generative AI and What Is Generative AI, both from LinkedIn in 2023. Sean also has an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services obtained in March 2022. Sean is also certified as an IT Leader by the Innovative Leadership Institute in 2018. Another certification in their possession is the Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform from Sun Microsystems, although the acquisition date is not specified.
