Anila Jonnavithula has extensive work experience in the medical and academic fields. Anila started their career as a Research Intern at the University of Utah College of Science in 2018. Anila then worked as an Academic Tutor at Kumon North America, Inc. from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, Anila joined the U OF R NEUROLOGY DEPARTMENT as a Research Assistant, where they worked until 2021.

In 2021, they held multiple positions simultaneously. Anila served as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah Department of Chemistry from January to December 2021. Anila also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah School of Biological Sciences from January 2021 to May 2022.

Anila's academic involvement continued in 2021 when they joined the University of Utah Honors College as a Peer Mentor, a position they will hold until May 2023.

In 2022, Anila began working as a Medical Assistant at Granger Medical Clinic and a Research Assistant at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Additionally, they worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at COPPER RIDGE HEALTH CARE from May to October 2022.

Anila Jonnavithula completed their high school education at Hillcrest High School from 2016 to 2019 and obtained a High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Utah in 2019 and is expected to graduate in 2023 with an Honors Bachelor of Science (HBS) degree in Neurobiology and Behavior.

In terms of additional certifications, Anila obtained their HIPAA Professional (HIPAAP) certification from the University of Utah in February 2020. Anila also obtained their Certification & Training Program (CIT) from CITI Program, a Division of BRANY, in February 2020. Additionally, Anila received their CNA certification in February 2021, and their Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross in September 2022.
