Allie Sutton has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2008 as an Administrative Manager at CASA of Santa Cruz County. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing, implementing, and administering benefit programs, conducting orientations for new hires, and managing accounting aspects for the organization.
In 2013, Allie joined Granite Construction, where they held various positions, including Benefits Specialist, Compensation Analyst, Corporate HR Manager, and Group HR Director for the Water & Mineral Services Group. In these roles, they handled benefits administration, equity compensation, base compensation, employee relations, talent management, and facilitated workplace investigations and corrective performance coaching plans.
Most recently, Allie served as the VP of HR Operations for the Construction & Corporate division of Granite Construction. Allie led a team of HR professionals, providing strategic HR support to multiple business entities across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Overall, Allie has a wide range of experience in HR operations, talent development, and compliance, making their a valuable asset in the field.
Allie Sutton, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Justice and Social Inquiry from Arizona State University (2001-2005). Allie also holds additional certifications, including the SHRM-SCP from SHRM (2017) and has completed the Executive Development Program at Wharton Executive Education (2021).
