Teresa Neto, CPA, CA has a strong background in finance and accounting with extensive experience in the real estate investment industry. Teresa has held various executive positions, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO), in several REIT companies such as Granite REIT, Pure Industrial Real Estate Trust, NorthWest Healthcare Properties REIT, and KEYreit. Throughout their career, Teresa has been responsible for overall financial strategy, accounting and financial reporting, corporate financing, treasury and cash management, tax, and internal control processes. Teresa has also demonstrated success in executing capital market financing and managing large credit facilities. Before entering the real estate industry, Teresa worked as a Director of Treasury at MTS Allstream, where they led various treasury functions, including cash management, foreign exchange, financing, debt management, as well as implementing and managing accounts receivable securitization and hedging programs. Additionally, Teresa has been actively involved in industry associations and has contributed to the development of accounting best practices and training programs.

Teresa Neto, CPA, CA has a BA degree in Accounting & Economics from Algoma University, which they obtained from 1984 to 1986. Teresa then pursued further education at the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants from 1986 to 1988, earning their C.A. degree. Teresa continued their education in 2018 to 2019 at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they completed the Institute of Corporate Directors - Directors Education Program. In May 2019, Teresa obtained the ICD.D degree from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
