Jani Hannén

Jani Hannén has extensive work experience in various roles related to energy efficiency and engineering. Jani currently works at Granlund as a Group Manager, responsible for managing projects related to energy efficiency in residential buildings. Prior to joining Granlund, Jani worked at Optiplan as a Group Manager and Team Leader, overseeing various projects. Jani also has experience as an Energy Consultant at Karves Energia & Valvonta Oy, where they provided energy efficiency services for different types of buildings. Jani's early career involved working as a Development Engineer at ANDRITZ Carbona, where they focused on process calculations and gasification engineering. Jani also worked as a Master's Thesis Worker at the same company. Jani's work experience also includes being an International Trainee at the Department of Thermal Engineering, Tsinghua University, and a Research Trainee at VTT, where they gained valuable research and practical experience. Throughout their career, Jani has demonstrated expertise in energy efficiency, project management, and engineering.

Jani Hannén received their Master of Science degree in Energy Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 2004 to 2011. In addition, they obtained a certification in GraNautti - Granlundin esihenkilövalmennus from Hanken & SSE Executive Education in March 2023.
