Teemu Salonen

Teemu Salonen has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and energy management. Teemu started their career at Optiplan as a Trainee in May 2008 and worked their way up to become a Project Engineer. In March 2011, they briefly served as a Team Leader before being promoted to Group Manager in January 2012. Teemu stayed with Optiplan until September 2015. In October 2015, they joined Granlund as a Group Manager, specializing in energy. Teemu held this position until December 2020 when they took on the role of Department Director in January 2021. Teemu's expertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the field of energy management and engineering.

Teemu Salonen pursued their education from 2005 to 2010 at Aalto University, where they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Energy Economics. In addition to their academic achievements, Teemu also obtained a certification in "Granlund Uusiutuva johtaminen – johtajien valmennusohjelma" from Hanken & SSE Executive Education in April 2022.
