Topi Korpela

Topi Korpela has a diverse work experience history. Topi started their career at Lohja Rudus Oy Ab, where they worked as auxiliary labor during the summer vacation period. Topi then gained experience as an electrician at Vattenfall and as a district heating mechanic at Kiviristin Lämpö Oy.

In 2009, Topi joined Wärtsilä Finland Oy as a trainee in the Technical Services department. Their responsibilities included programming automation parts of motors and providing support to salespersons and service engineers.

After that, Topi worked at ABB Motors & Generators, where they held various roles. Topi started as a Global Sales Support trainee, supporting sales units from all over the world. Topi later became a Delivery Control team member, planning and timing production. As a Project Manager, they were in charge of the order-delivery process and customer visits. Topi also wrote their master's thesis on material management during their time at ABB Motors & Generators.

Since 2015, Topi has been working at Granlund. Topi started as a Consultant in Real Estate Management & Digitalization, where they focused on management consulting, software, and account management. Topi then became a Lead Consultant, helping large property owners develop their property and facility management. Later, they held the role of Director in Customer Relations & Consultancy Services, responsible for sales results and growth of existing customers. Most recently, Topi served as the Sales Director for the Software and Data Business, overseeing a sales team and leading the sales efforts in Finland.

Throughout their career, Topi has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, achieve sales results, and contribute to the growth of businesses.

Topi Korpela's education history is as follows:

- From 2004 to 2007, Topi attended Lapua Upper Secondary School and completed the Finnish Matriculation Examination.

- In the same period, they also attended Härmämaa Vocational Institute and received a degree in Electrician with a focus on Power and Energy Technology.

- From 2008 to 2014, Topi studied at the University of Vaasa and obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Industrial Management.

- In 2011, they participated in exchange studies at Universitas Udayana, where they focused on an international minor subject.

- In 2014, Topi pursued a Master of Science (Tech.) degree in Real Estate Management at Aalto University.

- Since 2019, Topi has been involved in Doctoral Studies at the University of Vaasa, with a focus on Economics, specifically in the School of Management.
