Matthew Cramer

Matthew Cramer is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in choral conducting, composition, and academic advising. Presently serving as a Supplementary Chorister at the Grant Park Music Festival since June 2018, Matthew has also worked as a self-employed composer since 2010, focusing on original works and arrangements. Previous roles include Administrator and Student Advisor at the University of Hartford, Interim Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and Graduate Assistant positions at Northwestern University. Matthew holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from Northwestern University, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Yale University, and degrees in Music Composition from The Hartt School.
