Sheila Onyango

Sheila Onyango is an accomplished audit professional with extensive experience in the field of assurance and audit management. Currently serving as an Assistant Manager at Grant Thornton Kenya since October 2021, Sheila previously held the position of Senior Audit Associate at PwC Kenya from March 2016 to August 2021. In this role, Sheila was involved in project planning and led field teams on external audits for large to medium-sized organizations, primarily in the manufacturing, hospitality, and service industries. Sheila also gained significant expertise in executing audit strategies and supporting audit seniors across various industries, while developing a strong foundation in auditing techniques, standards, and International Financial Reporting Standards. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Arts with 2nd class honours (upper division) in Economics and Sociology from Egerton University, along with a certificate in SPSS statistical packages. Sheila's educational journey began at Ngara Girls High School, where a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education was obtained.
