Jim Wittmer

Jim Wittmer is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience at Grant Thornton, where Jim has held key positions since August 1992, including Regional Managing Principal for the Atlantic Coast at Grant Thornton Advisors LLC and Regional Tax Partner. As East Region Leader for Grant Thornton’s Federal Tax Consulting Practice and a member of the Partnership Board, Jim demonstrates strong leadership in tax consulting. Additionally, Jim served as National Managing Partner for Tax Growth from January 2020 to June 2024. Jim’s educational background includes degrees in Accounting from LaSalle University, an MT in Taxation from Villanova University, and further studies at Harvard University and The Wharton School.
