Alan Alexander

Alan Alexander has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on processor and architecture design. Alan has held various roles at companies such as Graphcore, NVIDIA, Icera Semiconductor Inc, SuperH, and STMicroelectronics. Alan'smost recent position was Vice President and Chief Silicon Architect at Graphcore starting in August 2022. Previously, they held the role of Chief Processor Architect at Graphcore and Director of Core Architecture & Evaluation. In the past, they also worked as a Lead Architect (Core) at Graphcore, SDK Team Manager at NVIDIA and Icera Semiconductor Inc, Software Toolchain Engineer at Icera Semiconductor Inc, CPU Architect at SuperH, and CPU Architect at STMicroelectronics.

Alan Alexander received a MA degree in Mathematics and Computation from the University of Oxford in 1999.
