As Senior Advisor for GC USA, Bob McKittrick’s responsibilities involve advising on product design, development and deployment, including the Armour, Aerospace Composite and Lightning Harvester Technologies. He also facilitates relationships with political, military, medical and law enforcement authorities.
Having begun his journey as a New Jersey State Trooper, Bob brings over 40 years of expertise and experience gained within the highest levels of medicine, the military, law enforcement, security and weapons.
He’s previously served in Washington D.C. as the Chief of Health Programs and Acting Medical Director for the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. This covered approximately 40,000 staff members nationally, including 3,800 medical personnel. He’s also been Chief Sports Physician for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Business Regulation, assisting with policy and overseeing professional sporting events within the state. Bob is licensed worldwide by the Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA), and has served as Team-USA’s physician for the U.S.A. Boxing National Team.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and a Doctorate in Medicine, both from Brown University, Bob also has formal training in Internal Medicine, Neurology and Family Practice Medicine. He’s a former U.S. Army Brigade Surgeon and Flight Surgeon and honourably served for many years in multiple theatres of operation, including Europe, the Balkans and the Middle East. He’s amassed an extensive history of lecturing, teaching and imparting his scientific and medical knowledge. Finally, Bob holds a 9th degree black belt in Karate and was recently inducted into the Isshinryu Karate Hall of Fame.
