Furqan Shaikh

Furqan Shaikh has substantial work experience in the field of environmental protection and engineering. Furqan began their career as an Engineering Intern at Risk Solutions Inc in 1999. Furqan then transitioned to the Georgia Environmental Protection Division in 2001, where they served as an Environmental Engineer for seven years before being promoted to Permitting Unit Manager. In 2013, Furqan joined Graphic Packaging International, LLC as the Director of Corporate Environmental. Recently, in 2022, they were promoted to the role of Director of Corporate HSE. Furqan has a strong background in environmental management and has demonstrated their expertise in various leadership roles throughout their career.

Furqan Shaikh holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, which they completed in 1998. Furqan then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering at Auburn University, completing it in 2000.
