Lauren W. Farnsworth has a diverse work experience that began in 2005 with Sysco, where they worked as a Contract Compliance Clerk/Internal Auditor. Lauren then interned with Ernst & Young in 2008. In the same year, they joined the University of Utah as an Associate Accountant/Internal Auditor. In 2009, they started working at EY as an Assurance (Audit) Staff and later became an Assurance (Audit) Senior. Farnsworth served as a Financial Reporting Manager and Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting in American Express from 2014 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at FieldStone Homes, where they held the roles of Corporate Controller, Director of Accounting and Finance, and Chief Financial Officer. In 2021, Farnsworth became a CFO Consultant/Transaction Advisor at Amplēo and Managing Principal at Phoenix Tide Financial. Currently, they serve as a Chief Financial Officer (Fractional) for two different companies: Concord Homes Utah and Graphite Systems (Graphite Connect).

Lauren W. Farnsworth earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business in 2007. In 2008, they continued their education at the same school and received their Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree in 2009. In addition, they are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
