Antoine Galand

Antoine Galand has held a variety of positions in the technology industry. From 2012 to 2013, they were the President of Centrale Nantes Etudes, an association working as an engineering consulting firm. In this role, they led a team of 25 coworkers, managed the relationship with the school board and the school's partner companies, researched and managed partnerships, recruited and trained the next team, set and managed the strategy, and restructured the team. Antoine also served as Project Manager for the Fondation Centrale Initiatives in 2013, where they were responsible for fundraising and leading an effort to reorganize the school with a team of 10 students. In 2014, they were a Marketing Strategy Intern at ALTEN, an Engineering and High Technology Consulting firm, where they cross mapped all current clients in France, created a database, studied the industrial potential of growing technology industries in Europe, planned and led a recruitment event, and recruited consultants. From 2015 to 2022, Galand worked at GraphWear Technologies Inc., where they held positions as Director of Technology and Technology Lead. In their role as Director of Technology, they worked closely with partner OEMs to design, test, build and ship bios version 2, implemented new real-time signal processing algorithms, and more than doubled the size of the engineering team. As Technology Lead, they created protocols to make their sensors sensitive and selective to different biomarkers, designed analog front ends of the bios device, selected materials for the form factor of the bios device, and created algorithms to make bios data actionable to the user. In 2022, they became an official member of the Forbes Technology Council.

Antoine Galand began their educational journey in 2009 when they attended Sainte-Geneviève. From 2012 to 2015, they earned a Master's Degree in Engineering Physics from Ecole centrale de Nantes. Antoine also obtained a Master's Degree in Nanotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015.
