Kurston Cook is a seasoned Senior Strategist at Grassroots Solutions, with over seven years of experience leading more than 30 projects focused on social and economic justice and the protection of American democracy. Cook previously worked as a Policy Associate at PolicyLink, where assistance was provided in developing a policy platform for the Alliance for Men and Boys of Color. Additionally, important roles as an Organizing Trainer for Campus Camp Wellstone, Special Programs Manager at Generation Progress, National Young Worker Program Coordinator for the AFL-CIO, and Deputy Director and National Field Director at the Roosevelt Institute were undertaken. Cook holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Michigan.
