Laura James

Laura James, MBA, PMP, ACC, is the Founder and CEO of SHiFT Consulting & Coaching, a firm focused on sales and operations simplification, process optimization, change management, and executive leadership coaching. Since January 2024, Laura has also served as a Board Advisor for the SaaS start-up Grateful Giving. Previous leadership roles include Vice President of Sales & Operations Transformation at VMware, where Laura led initiatives in digital transformation and served as an executive leader in the Women@VMware program. Additional experience includes senior director positions at ServiceNow and Salesforce, as well as extensive leadership roles at Verizon spanning nearly two decades. Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Sociology and an MBA specializing in Information Technology and Program Management from the University of Colorado Boulder.
