Matthew Froncek is an experienced information security leader currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Gravie since June 2022. At Gravie, Matthew created and led the Information Security Program, aligning it with NIST CSF, HIPAA, and SOC 2 requirements while modernizing cloud-native security controls. Prior to Gravie, Matthew managed the Incident Response Team and global SOC at Sutter Health, where efforts included redesigning the Security Incident Response Plan and enhancing security operations. Earlier career experience includes various security and IT roles at GoPro, where notable achievements involved the development of the company’s first Security Incident Response Plan and initiation of a Bug Bounty Program. Matthew holds a Graduate Certificate in International Security from Stanford University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Justice Studies from San Jose State University.
