Karen Silva

Karen Silva has a diverse work experience in the legal field spanning over 22 years. Karen started their career as an Associate Attorney at Brassey, Wetherell, Crawford & McCurdy in 1999 and worked there until 2002. Following that, they established their own law firm, Silva Law Offices, PLLC, where they served as an Attorney and Owner from 2002 to 2012. During this period, they gained expertise in various areas of law, including civil litigation, family law, probate, estate planning, and criminal defense. In 2012, Karen joined Capitol Law Group, PLLC as an Attorney and Partner. At Capitol Law Group, they continued to specialize in family law, handling divorce, child custody modifications, adoptions, and business litigation cases. In 2021, Capitol Law Group transitioned to Gravis Law, PLLC, and Karen Silva assumed the role of Senior Attorney/Family Law. Their practice still centers around family law issues, criminal defense, civil litigation, probate, estate planning, and business litigation. Throughout their career, Karen Silva has acquired extensive experience in trials, insurance defense, employment law, and personal injury cases.

Karen Silva attended Boise State University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a focus on English Language and Literature. Karen later pursued coursework for a Master's in Counseling at The College of Idaho. Additionally, Karen attended the University of Idaho, College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law.
