Hunter McSwain

Hunter McSwain is a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at Gravitics Inc since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SpaceX from 2018 to 2022 in various roles, including Mechanical Engineer (Production Tooling) and Manufacturing Engineer - Dragon 2 Mechanical Assembly. Hunter also had experience as a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer at Facture from 2017 to 2018. Hunter served as the Technical Director at SPU Falcon Racing Baja SAE from 2015 to 2017. Hunter's early experience includes manufacturing engineering internships at SpaceX, Boeing, and Planetary Resources, Inc. Hunter was also a member of FIRST Team 1983 Skunkworks Robotics from 2009 to 2013.

Hunter McSwain earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Engineering, with a Mechanical Concentration (ABET accredited), from Seattle Pacific University, where they attended from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended the University of Washington from 2013 to 2015. Hunter completed their high school education at Aviation High School from 2009 to 2013.
