Jennifer A. Ziegler

As Principal Consultant, Jennifer works on projects with Gray’s higher education clients, contributes to data products, and assists with corporate growth.

Jennifer came to Gray after working more than twenty years in higher education academics and administration, where she conducted research and taught communication studies from first-year to doctoral levels. She also served as program director and department chair, as well as dean at two different regional private universities.

When she was previously a client of Gray, Jennifer appreciated the insights that PES+ Markets contributes to academic program market research, development, and the approval process; particularly how otherwise disparate data sets are combined into visual dashboards that lend themselves to program storytelling at national, regional, local, and hyperlocal market levels. A former accountant, Jennifer also appreciates the power of PES+ Economics to help academic leaders see and understand program and department contributions as well as the key drivers of academic program costs and contribution margins. A strategic systems thinker, Jennifer enjoys working with clients on process improvement, particularly in the academic program proposal and development process. Jennifer also looks forward to contributing to new data products at Gray. To that end, she is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Data Science at her alma mater, Georgetown University.
