Head Of Strategy at Grayling

Laura Thomas has an extensive work experience in the communications and strategy field. Laura is currently the Head of Strategy at Grayling, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Global Client Lead at Grayling from July 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Grayling, Laura worked at Saatchi & Saatchi as the Director of Global and Regional Communications from April 2021 to July 2021.

From 2012 to 2020, Laura worked at DEVRIES GLOBAL, where they held multiple roles. Laura served as the Global EVP, Culture + Influence from January 2018 to March 2020. Laura was also the Senior Vice President, Global Strategy, and was responsible for managing the upstream global strategy portfolio for major CPG brands. Additionally, they managed the Global Strategy team resources, counseled clients, and established strong relationships with partner communications agencies.

From 2015 to 2020, Laura worked at DeVries Europe as the Director. Prior to that, they worked at Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners as the Director of Communications from July 2011 to August 2012.

Laura has also held positions at Brand Building Communications, Kaplow Communications, Washington Post Style Section, Washingtonian Magazine, and Mademoiselle Magazine, where they gained valuable experience in various roles such as Vice President, Senior Media Strategist, News Aide, Editorial Assistant, and Intern.

Laura Thomas received a Diploma in Global Business from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in the years 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Cornell University from 1998 to 2002.
