Scott Blackman

Scott Blackman has over 30 years of experience in the health care industry, with a focus on market access, reimbursement, and payer policy. Scott is currently serving as the Director of Market Access and Provider Success at GrayMatters Health, where they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at The Pinnacle Health Group, Inc. in 2023. From 2020 to 2023, they were the Director of Market Access at BrainsWay, where they led the US market access and reimbursement activities for their Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation technology. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the National Director of Payer Policy and Reimbursement at Medical Technology Partners, where they were responsible for coverage policy development and worked with key stakeholders to promote informed coverage decisions. Scott also held roles as the Director of Health Policy at Medical Technology Partners, Inc. from 2011 to 2020, and as the Director of Marketing and Development at Letter Direct Services, Inc. from 2010 to 2011. Prior to this, they gained experience in medical device sales and consulting at Olympus from 2008 to 2009, and as a National Account Manager and Regional Reimbursement Manager at Cyberonics, Inc. from 2005 to 2007. Scott Blackman's career began at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 1991, where they served as a Senior CNS Specialty Consultant, consulting with psychiatrists and neurologists on a portfolio of psychiatric and neurologic disorder medications. Before entering the healthcare industry, they served in the United States Marine Corps as a Captain, participating in Operation Desert Storm and receiving advanced training in various military skills.

Scott Blackman attended Montville Township High School from 1976 to 1979. Scott then went on to study at the University of South Carolina from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology.
