Joanna Allen's work experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer at graze.com, a B Corp and Living Wage Employer business. Joanna was appointed as CEO after the company was acquired by Unilever and was responsible for accelerating revenue performance, defining the strategic vision, and driving operational transformation. Joanna is also a founding member at Chief, an activist at the Better Business Act, and a member of the DIAL Diversity Review Committee at DIAL Global. Prior to their role at graze.com, they held various positions at Unilever, including Global Brand Vice President for Sure and Hellmann's. Joanna also worked at The Coca-Cola Company, where they held roles such as Director of Marketing for the Burger King Customer Team and Global Brand Director for Coca-Cola.

From 1997 to 2000, Joanna attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International History.

In 2005, they received a Professional Certificate in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing.

In 2016, Joanna attended The Culinary Institute of America and completed the Food Business School, focusing on Value Based Food Brands.

In 2017, they participated in the Women Leaders Programme at INSEAD.
