Fred Snyder

Fred Snyder, CIC has a comprehensive background in the insurance industry. Fred is currently the Director of Underwriting & Business Development - Small Commercial at Great American Insurance Group since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Grange Insurance as the Enterprise Partnerships Lead from July 2021 to April 2022. From 2008 to 2021, Fred held multiple roles at The Hartford, including Strategic Partner Lead/Executive Underwriter, Senior Underwriter - Large Book Transfers, Senior Sales Representative, Sales Underwriter, Small Commercial Underwriter, Middle Market Technical Rating Specialist- Command, and Middle Market Technical Rating Specialist- Associate. Fred also has prior experience as an Outside Supervisor at TPC Piper Glen, The Palisades CC, and Waterford Golf Club from 1998 to 2008.

Fred Snyder, CIC holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Business Administration from Winthrop University, obtained in the years 2002 to 2005. In 2017, they obtained a certification as a Certified Insurance Counselor from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
