Nate Schmitt

Nate Schmitt has over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry. Nate is currently working as an Actuary and Director at Great American Insurance Group since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies from July 2017 to September 2022, serving as an Actuary and then as an Associate Actuary. Before that, they held various roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance from June 2007 to July 2017, including Senior Actuarial Analyst and Actuarial Analyst. Nate started their career as an Actuarial Analyst I at Ohio Casualty Group in May 2006 and worked there until June 2007.

Nate Schmitt obtained a degree in Actuarial Science from Ball State University from 2003 to 2006. Nate also holds the certification of Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) from the Casualty Actuarial Society, obtained in 2021.
