Philip Howard

Divisional Vice President at Great American Insurance Group

Philip Howard has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Philip started their career at USI Affinity in 2001 as a Lawyers Professional Liability Underwriter. After six years, they joined XL Group as a Senior Underwriter and stayed there until 2010. Philip then moved to The Navigators Group, Inc. where they worked as an Underwriting Director for three years. In 2013, they joined Great American Insurance Group as a Divisional Assistant Vice President and quickly advanced to the role of Divisional Vice President in November 2022.

Philip Howard obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, General from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Missions from Mission University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Philip Howard holds a certification as a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
