Richard Suter

Richard Suter is an accomplished insurance executive currently serving as Divisional Group President at Great American Insurance Group since August 2012. In this capacity, Richard oversees Alternative Markets and Alternative Distribution, while also fulfilling the role of Reporting Officer for Strategy & Innovation, New Revenue & Strategic Partnerships, and Agency & Broker Relations. Prior to this, Richard held various leadership positions at The Hartford, including Division President of Alternative Markets and Alternative Distribution, and held multiple roles at St. Paul Companies and Suter & Associates, P.A. Richard's early career included serving as a Captain in the US Army. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law.
