Ruth Coulson

Ruth Coulson is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Urban Utilities since February 2018, Coulson oversees financial operations for a company that provides essential water and sewage services to over 1.5 million customers. In addition, as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Great Barrier Reef Foundation since April 2020, Coulson contributes to important environmental initiatives. Previous roles include Head of Supply Chain at Aurizon, where strategic management encompassed logistics and governance for a national network, and Group Chief Accountant at Hanson PLC, gaining a strong foundation in international accounting standards. Early career experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers involved managing audit teams for major listed companies in Hong Kong and Brisbane.
