Michael Sneyd has an extensive work experience in the real estate and resort development industry. Michael is currently the President of Resort Residential at Great Gulf, where they are responsible for the redevelopment of Taboo Resort in Gravenhurst, Ontario, as well as the company's expansion into other resort residential markets in North America.
Prior to Great Gulf, Sneyd worked as the Managing Director at Replay Destinations, a destination development company. Michael was involved in developing and operating authentic and enduring places that became must-visit destinations for guests and potential real estate purchasers alike.
Sneyd also served as the COO at Rosseau Residences, where they played a key role in the development and sale of limited condominiums at the JW Marriott The Rosseau Resort & Spa. Before that, they were the CEO of MJS Developments, specializing in the development of urban and resort hospitality related communities, condominiums, and villages.
Michael gained significant experience as the Chief Executive Officer at Skyline Investments Inc., where they implemented the company's business plan and managed various hospitality properties and residential real estate projects.
Earlier in their career, Sneyd held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at Signature Properties LLC, where they developed and asset managed golf communities, residential units, golf clubs, and a JW Marriott Resort and Spa. Michael also worked as an Executive Vice President/General Manager at Dumez Real Estate North America Inc., overseeing development projects in North America and advising Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts on their vacation club.
Sneyd began their career at Citicom Inc. as an AVP and Project Director, responsible for managing various development projects, including office towers, condominiums, and retail spaces.

Michael Sneyd earned an MSc in Urban Land from the University College of Estate Management in 1981-1982. Michael also completed an Honors Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 1977 to 1981.
