Great Lakes Science Center
Liz Conway has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Liz currently holds the position of Vice President of Development at the Great Lakes Science Center since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the College-wide Director of Development at Cuyahoga Community College from 2015 to March 2023. At the Cleveland Play House, Liz worked as an Institutional Giving Manager, where they successfully secured support from the corporate community and increased the number of corporate supporters. Liz also held the position of Operations Manager at the Chagrin Foundation for Arts & Culture from 2008 to 2010. Overall, Liz has demonstrated their expertise in development and fostering partnerships to advance the missions of various organizations.
Liz Conway completed the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2020 program. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Fordham University. Liz also earned a certification in Business & Government Relations from The Fund for American Studies, specifically from the Bryce Harlow Institute of Business & Government Relations.
Great Lakes Science Center
Great Lakes Science Center, home of the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, makes science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) come alive for more than 300,000 visitors a year. With hundreds of hands-on exhibits, temporary exhibitions, the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater, Steamship William G. Mather, daily science demonstrations, seasonal camps and more, guests will always find a reason to Stay Curious. The Science Center is funded in part by the citizens of Cuyahoga County through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.
