Evita Parks began their work experience in 2013 at Bowling Green State University as a Residence Hall Director, where they supervised a team and was responsible for budget oversight and crisis response. In 2015, they transitioned to The University of Toledo as a Program Manager, overseeing campus activities and programs with a focus on increasing student involvement and reducing spending. In 2017, they joined Great Lakes as a Training Specialist, and later became a Management Professional in Water Operations. Their roles at Great Lakes and The University of Toledo demonstrate their ability to manage teams, coordinate projects and events, and handle large budgets.
Evita Parks obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Law and Government from Eastern Michigan University in 2007. Evita went on to pursue a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the same university from 2008 to 2011.
In terms of additional certifications, Evita Parks obtained the following certifications: Certified Reliability Leader from the Association of Asset Management Professionals in November 2021, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2020, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Certified Trainer from FranklinCovey in May 2019, Leading at the Speed of Trust Certified Facilitator from FranklinCovey in May 2019, and Crucial Conversations Certified Trainer from Vital Smart in August 2018.
