Dr. Josh Galindo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr. Josh has worked as a Regional Sales Director and Territory Manager at Great Minds since 2019. Prior to that, they held positions such as Regional Strategic Sales Manager and Accounts Solution Manager at the same company.
In 2014, Dr. Galindo started working at Teachers College, Columbia University as an Adjunct Professor, where they trained rising school leaders and designed curriculum. Dr. Josh also worked as an Instructional Assistant, responsible for providing feedback on assignments and creating a more effective learning environment.
Additionally, Dr. Galindo served as an edTPA Facilitator at The Johns Hopkins University in 2019, and as a First Reviewer at Teach For America in 2018. Dr. Josh held the role of Professional Learning Specialist at Amplify and Science Academic Consultant at LearnZillion during the same year.
Furthermore, Dr. Galindo worked as a Lead Science Creator at PlayPosit in 2018, where they developed NGSS science curriculum maps and created content for differentiated lesson segments. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Director of Special Programs at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, managing a multimillion-dollar budget and reporting to the Department of Education.
Prior to that, Dr. Galindo held the position of Founding Team Leader/Biology Teacher at Rising Scholars Academy of South Texas from 2015 to 2016, where they facilitated team meetings, created intervention plans, and planned school-wide events. Dr. Josh also worked as the Science Department Head/Biology Teacher at Mercedes Early College Academy from 2012 to 2015, leading professional development and providing coaching to teachers.
Throughout their career, Dr. Josh Galindo has gained extensive experience in leadership, curriculum development, sales, and teacher training.
Dr. Josh Galindo holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Learning and Leadership in Organizations from Vanderbilt Peabody College, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public School Building Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University between 2012 and 2014. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from The University of Texas-Pan American, earned from 2006 to 2010.
