Carol Farris

Carol Farris is an experienced full stack engineer currently employed at Great Place To Work US since June 2023. Prior to this role, Carol worked at Microsoft as a software engineer from July 2020 to May 2023 and participated in the Microsoft LEAP Apprenticeship program as a software engineer from January 2020 to July 2020. Carol’s earlier experience includes training as a deep stack software development trainee at Kal Academy and providing freelance web development services to small businesses. Additional roles include applications consultant at NuGEN Technologies and inside technical support scientist at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute. Carol's educational background includes a PhD in Molecular Cellular Biology from the University of Washington, as well as multiple certifications in Python and JavaScript from the same institution.
