Alex Walters has extensive experience in sales and marketing within the luxury travel sector, currently serving as Sales & Marketing Manager for Europe & Middle East at Great Plains Conservation since April 2010, promoting high-end safari camps and lodges in Kenya. Previously, Alex held positions as UK Sales and Marketing Manager at both Ellerman House, a prestigious Cape Town boutique hotel, and Tswalu Kalahari Reserve in South Africa. Alex's early career includes roles as Product Manager for Bailey Robinson, where India and Indian Ocean products were managed, and Susie Freeman Travel, focusing on Africa. Additional experience includes sales consultancy positions for various travel companies, with a foundation in expedition management at the Royal Geographical Society. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Geography from King's College London and an HND in Business and Finance (Tourism) from Bournemouth University.
