Carl Brandt

Carl Brandt is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over three decades in commercial lending and real estate. Currently serving as the Regional Managing Director for Commercial Lending and Commercial Real Estate at Great Southern Bank since September 2013, Carl oversees teams in Minnesota, Iowa, Chicago, and Omaha, focusing on investor and developer financing. Prior to this role, Carl worked at BMO Harris Bank as a Relationship Manager and SVP, managing loan portfolios and a team of lenders and analysts. Additionally, Carl held key positions at National City Bank of Minneapolis and TCF Bank, gaining extensive experience in commercial real estate and credit underwriting. Carl holds a BA in Management with a finance emphasis and a minor in economics from the University of Northern Iowa.
