Rich Runyan

Rich Runyan has a strong background in finance and accounting, with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Rich is currently the Deputy Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer at Great West Casualty Company, where they are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. Rich has successfully completed the migration of general ledger software and implemented reinsurance accounting software. Prior to this, Rich served as Chief Financial Officer at Homeowners of America Insurance Company, where they played a key role in raising capital and positioning the company for potential sale. Rich has also held CFO positions at Centauri Insurance and GeoVera Holdings, Inc. Rich has a wide range of experience in financial reporting, audits, treasury management, and tax compliance. Rich has a proven track record of improving operational efficiencies and reducing costs.

Rich Runyan obtained a Bachelor's Degree with a dual major in Accounting & Marketing from Wichita State University in 1988. Rich also has additional certifications including Certified Financial Manager (CFM®) obtained in 2002, Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) obtained in 1993, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Kansas.
