Ian Chiclo

Ian Chiclo is a seasoned professional in digital content management and marketing, currently serving as the Manager of Digital Content at Great West Media L.P. since June 2023, focusing on engaging readers across nine Alberta communities. Prior to this role, Ian spent a decade at Bamboo Shoots in various capacities, including Business Development and Producer, where responsibilities included creating impactful video content and developing social media strategies. Ian also held the position of Director of Digital Marketing at Tourism Calgary, overseeing the organization’s digital presence, and previously served as Publisher and Editor at Fast Forward Weekly, shaping editorial direction and content. Ian's early career included editorial roles at CJSW / VOX, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Calgary.
