Eric Thompson

Eric Thompson has extensive experience in financial management and credit control. Eric started their career at Great Western Bank in 1998 as a Business Banking Officer. Eric then held various positions including Vice President - Financial Controller, Vice President - Business Performance, and Vice President - SD Regional Credit Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing financial performance, driving business efficiency, and providing credit management and direction to lending staff. In 2011, they joined POET Nutrition as the Director of Strategy & Business Development and later became the Director of Finance. In 2014, they returned to Great Western Bank as the Senior Vice President Credit, where they ensured adherence to loan policies, provided credit management support, and facilitated loan approvals.

Eric Thompson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern State University in the years 1993 to 1997. Eric later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Sioux Falls between 2010 and 2012.
