Karlyn M. Knieriem

Karlyn Knieriem has extensive experience in the banking industry, with their most recent role being Chief Risk Officer at First Interstate since 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Great Western Bank from 2016 to 2022. Karlyn also served as Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Great Western Bank from 2016 to 2018. Before joining Great Western Bank, they worked at First National Bank of Omaha as a Managing Director for 17 years from 1999 to 2016.

Karlyn Knieriem obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1985 to 1989.
